LensPin is not a camera importer or a one-pin editor. It is an iPhone and iPad workflow for camera photos already in Apple Photos: choose the exact batch, build a location timeline, inspect the evidence, and save only approved results.

Results are separated into High confidence, Review, and No suggestion. Only strong matches are selected by default; every photo can open into its map, timing, source agreement, and conflict details.
LensPin rechecks each photo before saving, reports Added, Skipped, and Failed separately, and places successful updates in a LensPin album so the map and coordinates are easy to verify afterward.

No. LensPin can use geotagged iPhone photos taken around the same time. A GPX track usually gives denser evidence, and you can combine both sources.
No. Import with Apple Photos, a compatible card reader, or the camera maker’s workflow first. LensPin begins after the camera photos are in Apple Photos.
The photo moves to Review or No Suggestion with an explanation. Conflicting or low-confidence results are not selected as safe defaults.
No. A camera clock offset changes only how LensPin compares the photo with the evidence timeline. The capture time stored with the photo is left alone.
Successful updates are added to the LensPin album. Open a photo there to verify the Apple Photos location, map point, and coordinates.
